What is the width between where the tow bar hooks up to ?

I went out to the warehouse and measured the distance between the base plate brackets on the Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit, item # 1165-1. The distance is 28-3/8 inches on center between the mounting holes. I have posted a photo with the measurement I took added to it for you to see.
