Any ideas to make this light work without issues with computer who thinks a trailer is hooked up?

On vehicles that have a hard time working properly with LED trailer taillights or hitch covers the solution is to install load resistors on the circuits of the hitch cover to increase the load on the circuit which will allow the truck to work properly.
For that we have the # DI34ZR. You would need to install one of these on each of the circuits of the cover.
