There are a few things you will need to consider when determining which kit to purchase. The size of the winch and the length of cable you will need are two factors that you will need to now before purchasing. We carry both Bulldog and Superwinch winch cable wiring kits that will work on both of your vehicles, but all the kits are not the same.
Both Bulldog and Superwinch use different gauge cables for their kits. The larger your winch's pull capacity that you want to install, the larger gauge cable will be needed to be used to handle the amp load the winch will draw. These kits are sold with different wire lengths to give customers a variety of lengths of cable to custom fit the harnesses to their application.
The kits that I recommend are the Bulldog Winch Wiring Cable Kits. The Bulldog kits have lengths available in 16 foot # BDW20043, 20 foot # BDW20206, and 24 feet # BDW20205. These kits also use 2 or 3 gauge cable. The different lengths will help give you a few choices when trying to install kits on different sized vehicles. The larger wire gauge size will allow you to wire up your winch safely with a cable size that can take the amp draw your winch will produce when in use.
I linked a couple videos on the Bulldog Winch Wiring Cable Kits and an article on how to wire an electric winch for your reference.
