Under Bed 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Installation Kit for a 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 Short Bed

Question:

Hi, I am looking for an under bed 5th wheel kit for my 2015 GMC sierra 1500. I see they advertise this model fits 2500 and 3500, but I dont see anything for 1500? I would really like to adapt an under bed kit to my truck to provide full access to the bed. I would like to use an under bed kit with a 30156 adapter to use a standard 5th wheel hitch to save some money. I should add that I am trying to do this on a budget as well Thanks for your help

Reese does not offer an under bed 5th wheel installation kit for your 2015 GMC Sierra 1500. The least expensive under bed and hitch option is going to be from Demco using installation kit # DM8551008 and HiJacker hitch # DM8550022 for a short bed.

Another option is to use Curt gooseneck hitch # C615-632 and X5 adapter # C16210. The X5 adapter fits in the gooseneck ball hole for this gooseneck hitch and provides standard rails to mount a hitch. If you do not already have a hitch you can go with a low-cost option such as # 16516.
