Question:
Parts needed to tow a 2011 Suzuki Grand Vitara. I want the tow bar that remains on the motorhome. My motorhome is a 2009 Gulf Stream Mini Vista Cruiser. Can I use the brake master system? The Motorhome has hydraulic brakes.

I would recommend the RoadMaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar - 6,000 lbs, part # RM-520. This tow bar comes with a storage latch that will allow you to leave the tow bar on your 2009 Gulf Stream Mini Vista Cruiser.
For a base plate you will need Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms - Suzuki Grand Vitara, 2011, part # 521020-1. You may also be interested in a Roadmaster Tow Bar Quick Disconnect Kit, part # RM-201, to simplify connecting and disconnecting the tow bars from your towed vehicle.
And for tail lights you could use a Magnetic Towing Light Kit, 20 ft. Long Cord, part # C-ATL20A. Or for a more permanent solution you could install a Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit, part # RM-154. I have included a FAQ page below that details how to install a diode wiring kit on your setup.
You could use the Roadmaster BrakeMaster with BrakeAway for Motorhomes, part # RM-9060, for a supplemental brake system, but if you wanted a less permanent solution that will be a lot simpler to install and operate I would recommend the Roadmaster Even Brake Portable Proportional Braking System, part # RM-9400.
If you went with the # RM-9060 you would need a Roadmaster Seat Adapter for BrakeMaster System, part # RM-88xxx. When you get to that screen you will want to enter 277 as the Roadmaster # before you click Add to Cart. The # 277 is the adapter that is designed for your 2011 Grand Vitara.
Only 4WD Grand Vitara models fitted with Full-Time Four Mode 4WD system with transfer switch are flat towable. See owners manual for confirmation and specific instructions.
