Question:
Im looking for a set or 2 of tire chains for my 2001 Chevy 2500 HD. I will mainly use them for icy boat ramps but occasionally plowing snow also. What would you recommend? My tire size is 285/75/16

For icy conditions you would want to go with a V-bar style chain that has the ability to crush ice as you drive through it. For that the part # TC3829 is a fit for your tire size of 285/75-16 and would work well.
Be sure to check the owners manual for any tire chain restrictions.
