Does Pop and Lock Tailgate Lock part # PAL8500 Fit 2003 Toyota Tundra without Locking Tailgate

Hi, I was wondering if this pop and lock would work if I do not have an existing locking tailgate handle? Is it the whole locking mechanism and just works with my standard non key hole tailgate handle? Thanks

The Pop and Lock Tailgate Lock part # PAL8500 will work for you. It is designed to fit non-locking tailgate handles like yours and allow them to lock when the power locks are used. It does not require a factory lock setup.
