Wiring Voyager Brake Controller to 2016 Nissan Pathfinder with 5-Wire Factory Brake Control Harness

I have a tekonsha voyager brake controller that was on my 2012Nissan Frontier with 4 wire plug . I now own a 2016 Nissan Pathfinder that came with a 5 wire plug from factory .. it appears even though the color codes are off on coklor that I can mount it and just plug it and go?? 2016 has black ground in same place as white ground 2016 has re/green in same place as red 2016 has red marked fused 8+ for black power 2016 has brown w/ wh line marked BRK OUT for blue brake 2016 has an extra red that is marked ill illumination?? please advise if I can plug and go? thank you,

Ill, illumination, that is correct. You will not use that wire to install the Voyager brake controller # 39510 on your 2016 Nissan Pathfinder. You will only need the black, red/green, brown/white, and blue.
On the brake controller the white wire is ground, black is 12 volt power in, blue is output to the trailer brakes, and red is input from the brake switch.
So based on your description of the wires:
Controller white to harness black
Controller red to harness red/green
Controller black to harness red
Controller blue to harness blue
