Question:
i have an e trailer hitch on my 2001 vitara 2 door but no wiring harness. the videos that I have seen are for a grand vitara. i have found the jack but so far not the wiring connector. should i remove the left side tail light assembly? does part #C55372 just plug into a connector on my car and if so where exactly is the connector?

The Curt trailer wiring harness part # C55372 is a confirmed fit for your 2001 Suzuki Vitara.
The connector you would be looking for is located on the inside of the driver side tire jack compartment. It is taped to the vehicle wiring harness just forward of the jack compartment. If you still don't see it try removing the taillight assembly to gain further access. That is something a customer had to do with their similar Vitara.
