I would like to buy the th9042pro 2-bike hitch. Can I load my bike on the hitch when it is in the tilt position and then push it upright? I need this to save my back. Thank you

The tilting feature for the Thule Helium Pro 2 Bike Rack Item # TH9042PRO can be tilted when the rack is empty so you can access the rear cargo area of your vehicle. It is not designed to be used for loading or unloading the bikes.
If you are planning on carrying bikes with alternative frames like kids bikes or women's bikes I recommend using an adapter bar like part # 64005. This attaches between the seat post and the handlebar stem and allows the bike to be carried more level in the carrier while providing additional ground clearance. I have attached a product review video for this adapter bar.
