Will Curt Hitch Part # 13245 Allow Spare Tire to Raise and Lower Easily

Question:
Question on hitch #13245 for 2012 Jeep Liberty. This car came with 18inch wheels including the full size spare tire under car near hitch. Is the hitch made with enough clearance around tire so it can be lowered to the ground? Thanks,

Yes, Curt hitch # 13245 is designed to fit around the under vehicle spare tire on your 2012 Jeep Liberty. It may require you to slightly push the spare towards the front of the car as you raise of lower it so that it gets around the hitch tube but it would not make the process that much more involved.
