Question:

Do i have to have a Jeep that was tow ready for this harness to work? this Jeep did not come with a tow package this is all brand new

Since this 4-pole kit installs by plugging in at your tail lights, it will remain independent of any factory tow package wiring that could be installed.

Installation, which is shown in the linked video, is mostly a plug-in process at the taillights, but one single wire does need to be run up to the engine compartment for connection to the battery's positive terminal using the included fuse holder.
