Electric Fan and Shroud Recommendation for Radiator that Measures 17 by 22 inches
Published 08/02/2016 >
Question:
I have a 1937 chevy half ton pickup with a 235 motor 1960 model. It runs hot. I had the radiator re-cored 5 row. The motor was just completely rebuilt. I was thinking of a new electric fan. There is absolutely no room on the motor side of the radiator, so it would have to be installed on the front as a pusher. I have a cheaper fan I got on eBay, but it is to doing the job. What can you recommend as a high output fan? The radiator core is 17 inches wide and 22 inches tall. Thanks,

Expert Reply:
The Flex a Lite Fan with Shroud part # FLX180 matches the dimensions of your radiator pretty close at 21-1/2" wide x 17-1/2" tall and can be used as a pusher fan so it would be your best option.
It also can flow 3,300 CFM so your engine will be kept very cool.
