Helpful Expert Reply:
The average transmission temperature for a vehicle is in the 160 to 200 degree range. If you are higher than this while towing and have an automatic transmission, I highly recommend a transmission cooler for your vehicle like the Derale # D13503.
I have linked all the transmission coolers that will be compatible with your turbo diesel, it will be up to you then to determine how much space you have available for the cooler based on their dimensions.
