Question:
Hi, Im looking for a hitch for my 2014 Dodge Dart Aero with the 1.4l turbo and manual gear box. But I read in a few places that I cant put a hitch on the Aero because of the bumper cover and aerodynamics under the car. My car is not rated for towing and I am only looking for a more secure solution for a bike rack and other accessories like that. Thanks...

For you to carry a hitch mounted bike rack on your 2014 Dodge Dart Aero, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, Class I # C11281 that you referenced is the hitch I recommend. I spoke with my contact at Curt and she confirmed this hitch is determined to fit all models of the Dart. She also confirmed they have not had any issues from customers with the # C11281 hitch fitting the Dart Aero. The installation instructions are attached for you.
If you need a hitch-mounted bike rack, I recommend the Swagmax XTC-2 Bike Platform Rack # S64670. This bike rack will fit well on your Dart and is confirmed to fit Class I trailer hitch receivers. A Class I receiver is limited to carrying no more than 2 bikes and the # S64670 rack has a 2 bike capacity. I have attached a review video of this rack on a similar Dart to yours.
