Where is the adapter plug in for 2016 tacoma with tow package

On the 2016 Toyota Tacoma with the factory 7-way usually the brake controller port is located behind the left kick panel, above the e-brake pedal. It may be taped to other wiring and/or tucked up out of easy reach. You may need to remove tape and/or zip ties to get the plug down to where you can easily access it for connection to the Tekonsha brake controller wiring harness # 3031-P.

This harness works for any Tekonsha brake controller, including their Prodigy P3 # 90195 and the P2 # 90885.

I have linked a video showing an install in a 2012 model year Tacoma, and also a photo of the port on a 2016 Tacoma provided to me by Tekonsha.
