I am looking for all the needed supplies required to transport 2 kayaks on a 2016 Subaru Outback. Is it possible to use 2 Th834 fixed racks? I do not want ropes rubbing on the body and need to know if 2 sets of quick loops and ratchet tie downs would fit my needs. Is the Th830 the next best option along with the quick loops and ratchet tie downs?

Both the Thule Hull-A-Port Side-Loading Single Kayak Carrier # TH834 and The Stacker # TH830 multi-kayak carrier will fit on the factory bars on the 2016 Subaru Outback Wagon, and both carriers will work with Malone's T-Stlye Quick Loops # MPG308. If you prefer a lower-cost option than two sets of the Quick Loops we offer a set of protective sleeves # EM06305-2 that slip over the tie downs included with the carriers to provide protection for your paint. These are made of polyester faux sheepskin.
I recommend you use two of the J-style Hull-A-Port rather than the Stacker since the two individual J-style racks can be positioned facing outwards which will make it easier to load the kayaks. The Stacker would require you to get each boat further toward the center of the roof.
It's a good idea to check your kayaks weights to confirm that along with the carriers you use the total weight will not exceed the vehicles roof capacity.
