Looking for weight distribution hitch for Honda Ridgeline. Tongue weight of trailer is 340 per mfg. GTW is toward the max of my truck but will be upgrading truck ASAP. My trailer hitch is a curt class III. What are your recommendations for weight distribution hitch? Local store recommended the Curt 500l lob rated.

You most likely have the Curt hitch part # 13385 installed on your Honda Ridgeline which has a tongue weight capacity of up to 600 lbs when used with a weight distribution system.
The Curt Trunnion Kit part # 17300 would be a great choice as it has a tongue weight capacity of up to 600 lbs. Which when you factor in that loaded tongue weight also considers the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle as tongue weight you would most likely need the additional capacity. Especially since it sounds like your trailer tongue weight is a dry weight.
