Question:
Hello, I have an Eagle 24ft long boat trailer. It is a tandem axle with the front being an idler and the back with drum brakes. It is currently a surge set up with drum. The model # of the trailer is S24-49TB. I am told it has 3700lbs axles. Looking at Eagles website in the parts catalog, this tells me the Inner race / bearing numbers are L68111 / L68149 and outer race / bearing numbers are L44610 / L44649. The spindles are a 1.375 by 1.0625? My question is what electric - hydraulic conversion kit would you recommend? I do like the Titan but would be open to another recommendation. The front idler axle does have the square mounts for the brakes so I would like to have brakes on both axles. Also, I may need to have a spindle replaced. I do not see a 1.375 by 1.0625 listed on your website. Do you sell one? Thank you,

To answer your last question first, for a replacement spindle that matches the dimensions you have that also has a brake mounting flange you would want the part # TRU74FR.
The Titan Brake Rite Kit part # T4843800 would come with everything else needed and would fit the spindles you have on your trailer. The Titan actuator is a very nice unit that will work very well for you so we would recommend it.
The only thing else you would possibly need is a brake controller compatible with this style of brake like the Prodigy P2 part # 90885.
For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup. This is a proportional brake controller that senses the amount of braking the tow vehicle is applying and applies a proportionate amount to the trailer brakes.
