Will Yakima RocketBox Pro 14 Roof Mount Cargo Box, # Y07192 Fit a 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander

Question:

Will the Yakima Rocketbox 14, fit on my 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander. The long bars are closer together at the back of the car 39 and we have the antenna in the middle of the car at the back. I have the Thule rack thanks to you and I know it will fit on that system Thanks

The Yakima RocketBox Pro 14, # Y07192, will fit the Thule bars on your 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander, as you have mentioned, and the width of the box should be compatible as well. You mentioned that distance between the side rails at the back of the vehicle is 39 inches. The RocketBox is 33 inches wide, so it will just fit (the mounting locations are actually further in so there is more space than it would seem).

In terms of the box interfering with the rear antenna there are a couple of things that can be done to provide more clearance between the box and the antenna. The clamps that hold the box to the cross bars can be moved forward or backward as needed to provide more clearance. If your cross bars are movable, you can always move them forward a few inches to clear the antenna.
