Could you please recommend a brake controller for a 2012 Suzuki grand vitara. I will only be towing an Avan Aliner 750kg tw. I will also need the appropriate harness to suit. Thanks

The brake controller I recommend for your Grand Vitara is the P3, part # 90195. This is one of our most popular brake controllers because it is easy to install and operate.
You will first need trailer wiring. The trailer wiring I recommend is part # 56002. This harness plugs into the vehicle wiring located in the rear cargo area on the driver and passenger side trim panels.
You then need to install part # ETBC7. This plugs into the 4-way harness and with additional wiring will give you a 7-way trailer connector for your Aliner trailer. I have attached a couple photos that show how the wiring needs to be ran for the # ETBC7 you can check out.
When working with electrical connectors I recommend using dielectric grease like part # 11755. This keeps dirt and moisture out of the electrical connections and helps prevent corrosion.
