Frame Bracket Recommendation to Allow a V-Nose Featherlite Trailer Use Weight Distribution
Updated 04/05/2016 | Published 04/03/2016 >
Question:
I have a 6 X 10 enclosed featherlite trailer that weighs 1325 lbs. I am towing a Honda Trike that weighs 1100 lbs. The problem is that the trailer has a V-Nose that shortens the amount of frame that I can attach the bars to, I need about a 26 inch maximum length bar. Any suggestions.

Weight distribution systems can be used on V-nose trailers, but they require using bolt on trailer frame hangers instead of the included ones with the part # 66557. What you would need is the part # RP58305.
These will bolt under the V-nose of your trailer and will not require clearance above the frame on the trailer. Check out the picture I attached that shows how they install without needing clearance.
