Question:

I just purchased the THule cargo basket from etrailer but need Xterra crossbars. My 2013 did not come with crossbars All of the used crossbars I find are for pre-2005 models. Are the crossbars consistent in size across the years or are there different sizes?

You can add crossbars to your 2013 Nissan Xterra. The aftermarket crossbars available do fit different years of the Xterra but I can't speak to the OEM bars.

To add crossbars I recommend using Inno square bars # INB107 with feet # INFR that clamp around the side rails. With the bars installed and at the proper width you can mount the Thule basket # TH859XT.
