I plan to use this winch on an existing boat davit on my dock in a salt water bay. It will be a direct vertical lift of approximately 800#. the item is a 3 seater jet ski. any potential problems with this application?? regards

I spoke with my contact at Dutton Lainson and she stated that the StrongArm Electric Davit Winch, # DL25032, would work well for the 800 pound vertical lift as the winch does not have a clutch. I have included a link to the installation details for the winch below.
The winch does not come with a cable. I recommend using # DL24047 or # DL24045 with fastener # DL24361.
