Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 1970 Chevy C10 with Step Bumper

Question:
Hello, im looking for a hitch for my 1970 chevy c10 pickup, with a 8ft bed, and a factory step bumper. Spare tire is mounted under rear of the bed. 500lb tongue and 5000lb trailer being pulled with a weight distribution hitch.

The Class III hitch for your 1970 Chevrolet C/K Stepside truck would be the Draw-Tite Class III 2-Inch Hitch, part # 75034. When used with a weight distribution system this hitch as an 8,000 lb total trailer weight and 800 lb tongue weight capacity.
If you needed trailer wiring you would also want the part # 18252.

I have a 38 tor that weighs 6700 lbs with 670 lbs tongue weight. Do you think it could handle it.
