When Adding 2-Bike Extension To T2 Bike Rack On 2013 Honda Odyssey Will Rear Hatch Fully Open

Question:
We currently have a TH83GC on the back of our 2013 Honda Odyssey EX-L with a 2 in Class C Hidden Hitch. We love it! We want to expand to four bikes with the TH55GC, but are wondering whether the bikes will still clear the liftgate when tilted down. You can see in the attached image that the liftgate clears my 2014 Trek Crossrip Bike when in the front tray. Will the added length of the TH55GC mean that the rack wont tilt down as far hitting the ground too early? Will that make me lose my liftgate clearance? If you havent tested this explicitly on a 2011-2014 model year Honda Odyssey, could you at least let me know exactly how much length would be added to the end of the THth83gc, and then I can try to do my own tests based on those measurements. Thanks!

The only way to tell for sure if you will be able to open up the rear hatch on your Odyssey is to take a quick measurement.
When part # TH55GDis added the distance from the hitch pin hole to the back of the carrier is 64 inches. You can measure the distance form the hitch pin hole to the back of your rack. Subtract that distance from 64 and you can see if the added length will interfere with the hatch opening on your Odyssey.
