2012 FJ Cruiser 4-Way Trailer Wiring Recommendation

Question:
Hello: It looks like I have the 4 pin trailer light pin already installed on my vehicle with the hitch. I have a small trailer without brakes and need to add the cable connection for the standard 4pin light connection. The trailer has a 3 pin and hole. What part # do I need and do I just plug the 4 pin in and thats it?, or do I need to do any additional wiring? Thanks

For 4-way trailer wiring for your 2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser you would want the part # 118405 that has been confirmed as a fit for your vehicle. The wiring harness you found could be for trailer wiring but it is not a style of connection that we sell a harness for. There might be a Toyota option that you could get through a dealer.
The part # 118405 installs inline with the taillight assemblies of your vehicle to provide the 4-way signal. I attached an install video for you to check out.
