Trailer Hitch, Trailer Wiring, and Hitch Ball Recommendations for a 2005 Toyota Camry
Question:
Hello, Ive got a Camry and am interested in being able to tow a small trailer with it. If I order the Draw-Tite, and also the ball, do I need to order any other accessories such as electric wiring, other bars, etc? Thanks

In addition to the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 36336, and a ball to fit the coupler on the trailer you plan to tow (# 19256 for 1-7/8 in diameter or # 19258 for 2 inch diameter), I also recommend ball mount part # 36061 and T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Trailer Connector, # 118308. This harness connects in line with your 2005 Toyota Camry taillights and provides a 4-Way trailer connector at the rear of the vehicle. Installation is fairly simple and I have included a link to the installation details below.
The trailer hitch and drawbar, hitch ball, and wiring are pretty much the minimum you will need to tow a trailer.
I have included a link below to an FAQ article on towing a trailer below.
