The Yakima DoubleDown 4-Bike Rack, part # Y02424 will work great on your 2015 Outback.

This bike carrier will work in a Class ll hitch with a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening, or it will work just fine using the included sleeve with the 2 inch receiver opening on a Class lll hitch. The carrier will hold 4 bikes up to a total weight of 120 lbs. When empty, this carrier also tilts away from the back of the vehicle for easy access to the cargo area.

The shank of the bike carrier has proprietary threads so the # HRLHPC2 lock and cable will not work with the Yakima carrier, but we do have a solution. I recommend the Yakima LockUp Hitch Lock and Cable Lock, part # Y07238. This includes the hitch pin lock that secures the carrier to the vehicle and also a cable that secures the bikes to the carrier.

If you are planning on carrying bikes with alternative frames like kids bikes or women's bikes I recommend using an adapter bar like part # 64005. This attaches between the seat post and the handlebar stem and allows the bike to be carried more level in the carrier while providing additional ground clearance.
