Compatibility of Edge EP99YR Evolution CTS 3 Programmer with 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 w/ 4.7L Engine

Question:
I have a 2005 Ram 1500 4.7l and been looking into getting a programer and see your site says the Edge cts programer ep99yr will work. Most other sites including Edges say its works with the Hemi 5.7 only.

According to my contact in the Tech Services department at Edge, the Edge Evolution CTS 3 # EP99YR programmer is indeed compatible with your 2005 Ram 1500 with the 4.7L engine.
This CTS3 would provide an increase of up to 18 HP and 21 foot/lbs of torque. I've linked you to our FAQ article that contains more information about Programmer/Tuners.
This product is NOT CARB compliant and shouldn't be used for vehicles registered in California.
