Exhaust System for 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 Crew Cab 5.3L

Question:

My 5.3 has a nelson tune that requires 93octane with a Volant Donaldson coldair intake system, i need to see about putting a single cat Back on Truck that will match up grades. And a estimate on hp. Nelson gave combine hp estimate of 52hp. What do you think with exhaust system. 2008 GMC 1500 Crew Cab

We have one cat-back exhaust system that will work for your 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 Crew Cab 5.3L V8 regardless if it is a short bed or a long bed, the Magna Flow Turndown Cat-Back Exhaust System # MF17104. This is the only exhaust system we have to fit the 1500 Crew Cab Long Bed 5.3L.

I have attached a link to our fitguide for the short bed for you to see all of the exhaust systems that are confirmed to fit your truck if it is a short bed.

It is hard to know exactly how an exhaust system will improve your horsepower, but typically it will improve the horsepower by 10 - 15hp.
