Does a 2012 Ram Have to Use Weight Distribution When Towing 19 foot Travel Trailer

Question:
I have a ram hemi truck and a Bambi 19 ft airstream. I have a wdh but do not want to use it , is it ok? Iam 66 years old and difficult to use.

As long as your truck seems to be handling the weight of your trailer when it is loaded without any noticeable sagging of the rear suspension you wouldn't necessarily have to use the weight distribution system. You most likely would get an improved ride quality when using it still as long as it is properly rated for your tongue weight.
The most common recommendation we make a WD system for is if the weight of the trailer is more than 50 percent of the towing capacity for the vehicle. I attached a help article on WD systems for you to check out as well.
