For a trailer hitch confirmed to fit your 2015 Volkswagen Passat you would want the Draw-Tite part # 24880. I attached an install video for this hitch for you to check out as well.
If you were planning on towing a small trailer, you might lean toward the Curt hitch, as the draw bar and pin and clip are included. You might also need the following to complete your towing system.
