Is a relay necessary to operate the fan on the Derale hypercool D15860 cooler. Thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:

A relay would not be required for the installation of the # D15860. All that is needed is power and ground and it will work just fine.

You could activate it with a switch like part # D16740 or with a thermostat switch like part # D15721.
