The long part number you referenced cross references with the Curt hitch part # C11377 which is a confirmed fit for your 2015 Mazda 3 Hatchback so it should work well for you.

If you plan on doing some light towing with your vehicle I recommend a ball mount like part # C45521. This ball mount has a 2-5/8 inch rise and a 3-1/4 inch drop. for a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball I recommend part # 19256 and for a 2 inch hitch ball I recommend part # 19258.

For trailer wiring I recommend part # C56204. This plugs into the existing wiring in the rear cargo area and after running the hot lead wire to the vehicle battery will give you a 4-way connector at the back of your Mazda.
