Question:

I have a late year 2013 Malibu. Will this model #36543 for the 2014 malibu fit? I like the way it mounts compared to models listed for the 2013.

Unless your Chevy Malibu is a 2014 model the part # 36543 that you referenced would not be the correct hitch for you.

Instead you would want the Draw-Tite part # 36538 as it is the correct hitch for your vehicle and would work well.

For trailer wiring you would want the part # 118602 for if you have an LTZ model or part # 118576 for if you do not have an LTZ model.

You will need the recommended ball mount, part # 36061. For hitch balls you would want the part # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch ball or part # 19258 for a 2 inch ball.
