Question:
I have a question about the Yellow wire on the # 30717. I have read that it is for Auxillary power. What do you connect it to and once connected, what gets the Auxillary Power? The TV is a Chevy Express Van and the Trailer is a Pop-Up. Thanks

The yellow wire on adapter # 30717 can be for auxiliary 12 volt power or for reverse lights. Auxiliary power is not something commonly used on pop-up trailers. Essentially, it is just another 12 volt circuit to power things that need 12 volt power on the trailer. But since there is already a 12 volt circuit you likely would not need it.
It would install the same way as the 12 volt circuit (black wire). You would run a length of wire, # 12-1-1, sold by the foot, from the yellow wire to the vehicle battery via a 40 amp circuit breaker # PK54540.
The other possible function is to use it for reverse lights and you would just tap into a reverse light wire behind one of the reverse lights. If the trailer does not have reverse lights (most do not) or if the trailer does not have a brake actuating coupler with electric reverse lockout then there is no need to use the wire and you can tape it up and stow it out of the way.
