Question:
Hello experts! I would like to purchase a WDH with sway control but the vast information on the web has me utterly confused. Could you please help make a recommendation? In the end, my load will vary from empty est. 210 LBS tongue weight to full max 630 LBS tongue weight.

To properly choose a weight distribution system, the first step is to determine the fully loaded and ready to tow tongue weight of your trailer. To that figure, add the weight of any gear stowed in the truck bed behind the rear axle. I've linked to an FAQ article that explains how to do this. These combined figures represent the Total Tongue Weight (TTW) of your set-up. The TTW of your trailer should fall as close as possible to the middle of the effective range of the weight distribution system you choose.
With a maximum tongue weight of 630 lbs, a system that's rated for tongue weights in the 500-1000 lbs range would be ideal.
If you've experienced no trailer sway problems, a simple round bar system like the Curt # C17051 would work well. If you've experienced little to moderate sway, use # RE94FR. For moderate to severe sway, use the Reese Steadi-Flex, part # RP66559. For severe sway, you'll want a system that will prevent the sway before it can start, like the Reese Strait-Line Weight Distribution System, part # RP66083. All these systems include the weight distributing shank. But you'll need to purchase the properly sized trailer ball. For a 2 inch ball, use part # A-90 or for a 2-5/16 inch ball, use part # 19286.
I've also linked you to an FAQ article that does a great job of explaining how weight distribution works.
