Question:

I am looking to put 2 kayaks on a Honda Fit. I have no experience with this and need to know what roof rack to buy and if I need or should have a J rack. Any advice would be appreciated.

First thing you will need to carry kayaks on your 2012 Honda Fit is a roof rack. For that the Rhino Rack that consists of part numbers # RRVA126B-2, # RRRLKVA and # DK154 would be a great option.

J-carriers like the Thule Hull a Port part # TH834 would be a great option. You would need one carrier for each kayak. I attached a review video for this carrier for you to check out as well.
