Transmission coolers are not vehicle specific so you will be able to use the Derale Dyno-Cool Tube-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit - Class IV - Economy, # D12904, if it will fit in one of three mounting locations.

You will need to measure in the engine compartment of your 2008 Dodge Durango to make sure a cooler will fit. The most efficient mounting point is between the grille and AC condenser core. The next most efficient place is between the AC condenser core and the radiator (25 percent less efficient when mounted here). The least efficient place is between the engine and radiator (40 percent less efficient). If it must be installed between the radiator and engine, a larger capacity cooler is recommended to make up for lost efficiency. The most efficient transmission coolers are the plate and fin style, like Derale Transmission Cooler, # D13504.

Once you determine the best mounting spot on your Durango, you can begin installation. The cooler installs in line with your current system. It uses little straps, kind of like wire ties, that go through the cooler and where its mounted and attaches using spacers and locks that are like small buttons.

I have included an FAQ article on transmission coolers and an installation video below.
