Is Trailer Wire Harness On 2014 Chevrolet Camaro Stored Inside The Trunk
Updated 06/25/2015 | Published 06/23/2015 >
Question:
Good afternoon, My order arrived this afternoon and I had a question before I start. I was looking at the wire harness directions and I get the idea that the trailer end of the harness is rolled up and stored in the trunk when not in use. When it is needed it drapes out of the trunk and plugs into the trailer. Is that a correct assumption?? Just wanted to make sure I understood it so I am not trying to snake it out to the hitch receiver area. Thanks! 2014 Chevrolet Camaro coupe

You are correct. The 4-way wiring harness, part # C56197 for your Camaro can be stored inside the trunk area when not in use. When you are planning on using it you can close the trunk with the harness hanging out to connect to your trailer. You will want to make sure you route the wiring so that it will not be damaged by the trunk latch.
