Can the Hopkins Backup Camera part # HM50002 be Installed on a Vehicle with 4-Way
Updated 06/16/2015 | Published 06/15/2015 >
Question:
I like the Hopkins camera system that was emailed to me. I watched the video and noted that it was for a 7 pin connector. I have an after market trailer system using the standard 4 pin connector. Do you have a model that has the 4 pin setup?

The Hopkins Backup Camera part # HM50002 that you referenced can be installed on a vehicle that does not have a 7-way on it like yours. You will need to tap into the reverse light circuit like the video I attached shows.
Your 4-way would not be needed in any way for the install.
