Roof Rack Needed for 2012 Ford Edge with Panoramic Roof to Carry 27x18x12 Suitcases

Question:
2012 Ford Edge, no racks, panoramic roof. I want to carry two 27x18x12 suitcases. I want to keep them from sliding around. I like Yakima but they seem much larger or longer than needed. I also need a rack.

When it comes to a roof rack for your 2012 Ford Edge with a panoramic roof, one of my personal favorites is the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack with Vortex Aero Crossbars, # RR38SR. Not only is this rack economical but it is also quiet due to the aerodynamic design and very stylish. It offers a really clean look.
Once the roof rack is installed you can use a basket like the Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket, # RMCB, and Cam Buckle Cinch Straps, # RRRTD55P, to secure the suitcases to the roof of the Edge.
I always like to remind everyone to check the roof capacity of their vehicle before loading any cargo onto the roof. Exceeding the roof weight capacity could damage your vehicle.
