Picking Out Pop Up Camper Cover, Does Gear Deck Factor into Size Needed
Updated 05/20/2015 | Published 05/19/2015 >
Question:
Hello, we recently purchased a 2007 Fleetwood E2 pop-up tent camper. The camper has a Waterproof Gear Deck w/Stainless Steel Tie Downs and Powder Coated Side Rails. We will need to purchase a cover for it as it will be stored outside. I am capable of figuring out the correct size we need based on the measurements of the PUP. My question is this... Should the cover that I plan to buy cover the gear deck too or just the camper box? Looking for your recommendation here as Im not sure what the best cover to buy is. Thank you!

Expert Reply:
The gear deck you have at the front of your 2007 Fleetwood E2 pop-up tent camper would not be covered with a pop up camper cover like the # CA80040 that you referenced.
When determining the correct size cover to get you would not incorporate the gear deck.
