I spoke with my contact at Brophy and he said that yes, the Brophy Clevis Mount part # CM91 is made of solid steel. This Clevis mount has a black powder coat to resist rust. However, it only has a weight capacity of 3500 lbs. I would recommend # MT70034 which has a weight capacity of 5000 lbs.
