I have a 2007 chevy 1500. I want the tekonsha p3 it shows to connect one of the red wires under the hood what about the other by the frame? I have a stock 7and1 and what is the nut part number? Thanks

To install a brake controller like the part # 90195 in your 2007 Chevy Silverado there are a few connections under the hood of your truck that need to be made. There is one wire by the truck's fender that will need to get connected to the fuse box and there is another wire beneath the brake booster that needs to get run to the fuse box.

For nuts you will need M8, # 185917 and the M6, # 185916.
