I have a 2006 dodge ram 2500 short bed I have the rails but I need the mounting brackets for a rbw lil rocker fifth wheel hitch.

The correct rail kit for your 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Short Bed is the part # RP50140-58. For just the brackets minus the rails you would want the part # RP50140. You would also need the bolt kit part # RP58430 to provide hardware for the brackets to the rails.
We really don't recommend mixing bracket and rail manufacturers so hopefully you have Reese rails currently. We don't recommend mixing brands because we have found that not all base rails match up with brackets from other manufacturers. It is a warranty issue and a fit issue.
Otherwise you would need the # RP50140-58 instead which comes with new rails.
