Question:
Does this product just have a 2 wire connection and the strobe goes on when powered? My application is for when the interior light in my trailer is left on and I want to be warned or to have it go off after a certain time maybe 5 minutes. Perhaps there is a switch that can have a timer? Thanks,

I called my contact at Custer about the Custer 10-Watt LED Strobe Light, part # STR1W-LED.
They told me this light has 4-wires coming out of the back of the light. It would be wired as follows:
Red wire is for the 12V power source. Black is the ground wire. White is for a switch. The green wire is to allow you to connect more than one light together and that would sync the lights together. If you are not installing more than one, they told me that you can simply cap the green wire. This light will strobe only when powered.
For a switch you can use part # PK34513. This is a simple toggle switch That has 2 wires, one for the 12V input and one that would got to the input wire on the light.
As far as a timer, you may be able to find a timer that uses 12V power for the light. We do not carry 12V timers.
