Question:

Will the Draw-tite #65046 fit my 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 Quad cab, Heavy duty, SLT, Diesel? Just assuming it will. How much could I expect where the hitch will be located in relation to the front license tag. Im hoping to be able to use a Flip-up license plate to gain access to the hitch which is really what I perfer. Tks

The Draw-Tite # 65046 front mounted receiver will fit the 2004 Dodge Ram 3500.

When the hitch is installed, the receiver tube will butt up against the underside of the front bumper fascia, a few inches below the license plate, as you'll see in the photo I provided.

The Curt # C31017 would sit about 2 inches higher, meaning you'd need to notch the bumper fascia, but you'd still be well under the license plate.
