The latches in the Replacement Latch Kit, # 1085, are 3-5/8 inches long x 1-1/2 inches wide x 3/4 inch deep. These latches were designed to replace the latches that come with the Stromberg Carlson 100 Series Fifth Wheel Tailgate, # VGT-70-100.

The hook with the pull ring sticks out 1-5/8 inches. I have attached an installation video of the tailgate that shows how the latches install on the tailgate.
